  • Yes, I consider general-purpose computers too. It's strange because I imagine how nice it would be with 10-bits-byte to know that you can address 1 kilobyte with 1 byte, 1 megabyte with 2 bytes, etc. Of course, it's just a caprice on comfort :) Commented Jan 6, 2014 at 15:03
