  • thanks @TravisJ - I upvoted as its a nice explanation of MVC as related to games. Still unclear of certain points, I think, as you say, I'm getting bogged down in the nuances of the patterns and it's stopping me moving forward. One thing I saw was the use of this.view.Select() in the controller - is this type of tight coupling necessary or is there a way of decoupling further? Commented May 8, 2014 at 8:31
  • @wigglyworm - There can always be more decoupling! :D But really, the controller should be the one that communicates to the model and then updates the view so that is probably where most coupling takes place in MVC. Commented May 8, 2014 at 16:29
