  • Expect that, for the single string change, the devs will have to set up a new module test environment, figure out how it is to be configured (if not touched for a year or two), fight their way through legacy spaghetti code, see other parts not compiling/working with it anymore, then, when it has finally been changed and tested on the desktop, the automated build fails for some reason, taking half a day or a day to figure out why.
