  • Thanks for you feedback. Good points. The question I really want answered (I just added yet another update to clarify) is the appropriate way to test functions that do nothing more than call a sequence of other services through delegation. In such cases, it seems the unit tests appropriate to "document the contract" are just a restatement of the function implementation, asserting that methods are called on various mocks. Yet the test being identical to the implementation in those cases feels wrong.... Commented Jun 22, 2016 at 13:45
