  • @KarthikSreenivasan: Exactly, and then some dysfunctional team members will start (1) making random changes to the code "because the whole team owns the code" and (2) not fixing the errors they introduce "because it is the whole team's responsibility to fix them". I think the ideal solution somewhere between individual ownership and team ownership. Commented Dec 26, 2015 at 8:46
