Cosmological Gas Dynamics

2024

Master's thesis analyzing the dynamic state of diffuse gas in the Universe using IllustrisTNG simulation data. Processed large-scale cosmological simulations using Python and C++ on HPC clusters. Supervised by Prof. Dr. Volker Springel at Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics.

Dark Matter Deficiency Study

Working Student @ Universitรคts-Sternwarte Mรผnchen (LMU)
2019

Investigated dark matter deficiency in galaxies NGC1052-DF2 and DF4 using N-body simulations. Ran simulations in C++ and analyzed hundreds of GB of simulation data in Python to understand these anomalous ultra-diffuse galaxies.
