I suppose it does [...]" Presumably if the hibernation data sits on a LUKS-encrypted partition, that would mitigate this concern? This kind of setup worked fine on Ubuntu until v. recently (Meltdown patches seem to have messed smth up). It's a shame to have to choose between (encrypted) hibernation and secure-boot as I feel the combination of both really would help improve security. | |
