  • Yep, and that's a very strange issue, actually. Microsoft Installer does have counter functionality on shared assemblies. WSP is a kind of installation package too, and so I don't understand, why they don't have the same behaivour for WSPs. Sometimes, SharePoint hits :( Commented May 3, 2011 at 14:43
