- Thanks, I was able to download it, but the Solutions Gallery is expecting a .wsp file. So I need to convert my .app to a .wsp. I have updated my original question.CigarDoug– CigarDoug2016-11-20 13:53:41 +00:00Commented Nov 20, 2016 at 13:53
- why do you want to convert to wsp ? it is SP 2010 version ? I don't think it can be converted to WSP directly but you have to do it manually..... Edited answer accordingly..Siddharth Vaghasia– Siddharth Vaghasia2016-11-20 15:01:41 +00:00Commented Nov 20, 2016 at 15:01
- I want to build apps for my SharePoint Foundation 2013 sites. They are not hosted by Office 365. I want to build apps in Office 365 and copy them over, I have no idea how I am supposed to do that. I don't want to go through the App Store just to deploy my own apps.CigarDoug– CigarDoug2016-11-20 17:46:44 +00:00Commented Nov 20, 2016 at 17:46
- I have edited answer on how to convert APP to WSP...Siddharth Vaghasia– Siddharth Vaghasia2016-11-20 18:10:14 +00:00Commented Nov 20, 2016 at 18:10
- Thank you, you asked why I want to do that. If there is a BETTER way to copy an Add-In to a SharePoint Hosted site, instead of publishing to the App Store, then tell me that instead.CigarDoug– CigarDoug2016-11-20 18:11:38 +00:00Commented Nov 20, 2016 at 18:11

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. sharepoint-online), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
