- I checked the Views list inside the Active Users Page, and seems it contain many options such as; Global admins,Service Admins, user management admin & password admins. so which on i should worry about? now for example inside the global admin i find our user defined and also another admin which is the user who created our user name. now this user is our customer IT manager, so it is a trusted person. but i find a user who is defined inside the Service Admin, Password Admin & also inside the user management admin.. so will this user gain access to sharepoint sites and have full control?John John– John John2017-08-24 17:19:39 +00:00Commented Aug 24, 2017 at 17:19

- 1Users in the Password Admin, Service Admin and User Management Admin section do not by default have permissions to access SharePoint sites. Unless you set them as site collection owner in the SharePoint Admin Center of course, or give them Full Contol using Site Permissions inside the Site Collection.Toine-L– Toine-L2017-08-25 18:15:56 +00:00Commented Aug 25, 2017 at 18:15
- Ok thanks. i got your point. so the only users i should be worried about are the global admins + sharepoint online admins? as those group of users will have full control over the sites, is this correct? second question about this scenario which i am not sure if it is valid or not:- let say a user who is defined inside the user management admin, create a new user, then will heJohn John– John John2017-08-27 02:00:34 +00:00Commented Aug 27, 2017 at 2:00
- be able to grant the new user a sharepoint admin role or global admin role? if this scenario is valid then users with user management admin role can get access to all the site collection indirectly but creating new user and grant the user SP admin role or global admin role? is this a valid scenario?John John– John John2017-08-27 02:00:54 +00:00Commented Aug 27, 2017 at 2:00

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. sharepoint-online), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
