a) Reading/Scanning code - Most people when scaning code read the first few characters of the line then move on unless it's "interesting", then they read a couple more. Compiler Errors : Most of the time I interpret the compiler error as "Problem with line <x>". only if I can;t work it out instantly (rare), so I actually read the error.
