Import in Blender most commons GIS data format, Shapefile vector, raster image, geotiff DEM, OpenStreetMap XML. There are a lot of possibilities to create a 3D terrain from geographic data with BlenderGIS, check the Flowchart to have an overview. Display dynamics web maps inside Blender 3d view, requests for OpenStreetMap data (buildings, roads, etc.), get true elevation data from the NASA SRTM mission. Manage georeferencing information of a scene, compute a terrain mesh by Delaunay triangulation, drop objects on a terrain mesh, make terrain analysis using shader nodes, set up new cameras from geotagged photos, set up a camera to render with Blender a new georeferenced raster.

CadQuery is an intuitive, easy-to-use Python library for building parametric 3D CAD models. It has several goals. Build models with scripts that are as close as possible to how you’d describe the object to a human, using a standard, already established programming language. Create parametric models that can be very easily customized by end users. Output high-quality CAD formats like STEP and AMF in addition to traditional STL. Provide a non-proprietary, plain text model format that can be edited and executed with only a web browser. The scripts use a standard programming language, Python, and thus can benefit from the associated infrastructure. This includes many standard libraries and IDEs. CadQuery's CAD kernel Open CASCADE Technology (OCCT) is much more powerful than the CGAL used by OpenSCAD. Features supported natively by OCCT include NURBS, splines, surface sewing, STL repair, STEP import/export, and other complex operations.

This is the main source code for the MakeHuman application as such. See "Getting started" below for instructions on how to get MakeHuman up and running. Mac users should be able to use the same instructions as windows users, although this has not been thoroughly tested. At the point of writing this, the source code is almost ready for a stable release. The testing vision for this code is to build a community release that includes main application and often-used, user-contributed plug-ins. We hope that the utility of this integrated functionality is sufficient to entice a larger cohort of testers who get value-added in exchange for the possibility of uncovering deficiencies in our application.

3D plotting and mesh analysis through a streamlined interface for the Visualization Toolkit (VTK). PyVista is a helper module for the Visualization Toolkit (VTK) that takes a different approach on interfacing with VTK through NumPy and direct array access. This package provides a Pythonic, well-documented interface exposing VTK’s powerful visualization backend to facilitate rapid prototyping, analysis, and visual integration of spatially referenced datasets. This module can be used for scientific plotting for presentations and research papers as well as a supporting module for other mesh-dependent Python modules. Easily integrate with NumPy and create a variety of geometries and plot them. You could use any geometry to create your glyphs, or even plot the points directly. Direct access to mesh analysis and transformation routines. Intuitive plotting routines with matplotlib similar syntax.

plotly.py is a browser-based, open source graphing library for Python that lets you create beautiful, interactive, publication-quality graphs. Built on top of plotly.js, it is a high-level, declarative charting library that ships with more than 30 chart types. Everything from statistical charts and scientific charts, through to maps, 3D graphs and animations, plotly.py lets you create them all. Graphs made with plotly.py can be viewed in Jupyter notebooks, standalone HTML files, or hosted online using Chart Studio Cloud.

FrankMocap is a monocular 3D human capture system that estimates body, hand, and optionally face pose from a single RGB image or video. It regresses parametric human models (e.g., SMPL/SMPL-X) directly, producing temporally stable meshes and joint angles suitable for animation or analytics. The pipeline couples a robust 2D keypoint detector with 3D mesh regression networks and priors that keep results anatomically plausible. It can run frame-by-frame or with temporal smoothing, and includes demo apps for live webcam capture as well as batch processing. Outputs include textured meshes, joint locations, and model parameters that can be exported to common DCC tools and game engines. The codebase offers pretrained models, clear inference scripts, and utilities to visualize results, making single-camera motion capture approachable on commodity hardware. Researchers and creators use it for motion studies, AR/VR prototyping, character animation, and human-in-the-loop editing.

A lightweight and powerful python module for scientific analysis and visualization of 3d objects. Inspired by the vpython manifesto "3D programming for ordinary mortals", vedo makes it easy to work with 3D pointclouds, meshes and volumes, in just a few lines of code, even for less experienced programmers. vedo is based on VTK and numpy, with no other dependencies. Import meshes from VTK format, STL, Wavefront OBJ, 3DS, Dolfin-XML, Neutral, GMSH, OFF, PCD (PointCloud). Export meshes as ASCII or binary to VTK, STL, OBJ, PLY formats. Analysis tools like Moving Least Squares, mesh morphing and more. Tools to visualize and edit meshes (cutting a mesh with another mesh, slicing, normalizing, moving vertex positions, etc..). Split mesh based on surface connectivity. Extract the largest connected area. Calculate areas, volumes, center of mass, average sizes etc. Calculate vertex and face normals, curvatures, feature edges. Fill mesh holes.

This page will introduce the general concept of point clouds and illustrate the capabilities of pyntcloud as a point cloud processing tool. Point clouds are one of the most relevant entities for representing three dimensional data these days, along with polygonal meshes (which are just a special case of point clouds with connectivity graph attached). In its simplest form, a point cloud is a set of points in a cartesian coordinate system. Accurate 3D point clouds can nowadays be (easily and cheaply) acquired from different sources. pyntcloud enables simple and interactive exploration of point cloud data, regardless of which sensor was used to generate it or what the use case is. Although it was built for being used on Jupyter Notebooks, the library is suitable for other kinds of uses. pyntcloud is composed of several modules (as independent as possible) that englobe common point cloud processing operations.

This work extends 3DDFA, named 3DDFA_V2, titled Towards Fast, Accurate and Stable 3D Dense Face Alignment, accepted by ECCV 2020. The supplementary material is here. The gif above shows a webcam demo of the tracking result, in the scenario of my lab. This repo is the official implementation of 3DDFA_V2. Compared to 3DDFA, 3DDFA_V2 achieves better performance and stability. Besides, 3DDFA_V2 incorporates the fast face detector FaceBoxes instead of Dlib. A simple 3D render written by c++ and cython is also included. This repo supports the onnxruntime, and the latency of regressing 3DMM parameters using the default backbone is about 1.35ms/image on CPU with a single image as input. See requirements.txt, tested on macOS and Linux platforms. The Windows users may refer to FQA for building issues. Note that this repo uses Python3. The major dependencies are PyTorch, numpy, opencv-python and onnxruntime, etc.
