NSDate thoughts

Change references to NSCalendarDate to use NSDate instead. Use
an NSDateFormatter to convert to and from NSString
representations. The only place NSCalendarDate is used in the
interface is for birthdate. birthDate might have a zero
(unspecified) year. (Perhaps make an NSDate subclass,
LJBirthDate?)
