$\begingroup$ Yes, I mean the source for this proof.. since I'm trying to cite this in my paper, and I checked Breiman and Friedman's book "Classification and regression trees" but couldn't find the proof.., Also I have a question if the values are numerical, how will the "Level" define in that situation? $\endgroup$
