- $\begingroup$ Posts that ask, in effect, "How do I perform regression?" or "How do I crossvalidate findings?" are so broad that they are unfortunately not a good fit for this site. It sounds as if you would benefit from extensive reading and/or from time spent with a mentor or consultant. $\endgroup$rolando2– rolando22013-01-22 15:35:27 +00:00Commented Jan 22, 2013 at 15:35
- 1$\begingroup$ In light of @rolando2's comment, it may be more helpful to try what you can, & then ask a series of well-focused questions about the places where you're stuck (assuming those issues haven't already been covered elsewhere on CV). For each question, you would state what you've done thus far, where you're stuck, & what you understand about that issue based on your own study of statistics. $\endgroup$gung - Reinstate Monica– gung - Reinstate Monica2013-01-22 17:20:08 +00:00Commented Jan 22, 2013 at 17:20

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. machine-learning), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
