Dec 22, 2011 at 14:17 comment added Martin Scharrer @wayover12 aka James: Welcome to TeX.sx! Please note that this is not a normal forum, but a question and answer site (Q&A). The thread format is much stricter as in a forum. Please register your account, so that you have full access to your posts. Unregister accounts will expire with your browser session. They also happened with your last edit, which got posted actually anonymous and had to be sign off by a moderator.

Dec 22, 2011 at 6:24 comment added Bruno Le Floch @wayover13 how do you want the two texts to keep synchronized? On a 100 page document, I'd expect that to be a problem, if the translations do not have the exact same length? If you want paragraphs to match, for instance, you could make a new line in your table for each paragraph. Something like \begin{longtable} ...First paragraph of text A... & First paragraph of text B... \\ ...Second par of text A... & Second par of text B... \end{longtable}

Dec 22, 2011 at 3:03 comment added Chel Have you tried parcolumns? What about its appearance looks inferior to a table? Also, if you have to implement this in a table, where will you put your row breaks?
