I have a table of various links and descriptor which I'd like to be able to filter

News, Middle East Israel	http://www.haaretz.com
Music, Players Media	http://www.apple.com/itunes
Israel, Music	http://www.mp3music.co.il

or some such categorizes that would make it easier to filter the left column for "israel" or "music" than to insist on a rigid first word to sort the column by. I know itunes and winamp can do this type of thing dynamically, though I'd be satisfied if it could be done by a search post as well. (As far as I can tell, none of the existing plugins or add ons are able to address this issue. Maybe it's because other people have a better way of organizing links. that'd be appreciated too!)

A bonus would be the ability to search across tables in a various Topics to minimize the need for duplicating the same link in various topics.

(An alternative may be a web search that returns the surrounding topic text like google does)
