  • @coteyr Since there will be a LOT of conflicts, I was hoping to just rename '.JPG' to '.CAP.JPG' or something like that just to make the names unique. It would take a long time to manually resolve the conflicts. Commented Jul 20, 2015 at 16:59
  • One More GUI option (maybe not for you though) is Thunar. It has a rename tool just for situations like this. Commented Jul 20, 2015 at 19:19
