Thanks Thomas, I have already done the basic configuration of snmp using the same wiki page and could also able to get data of resources which are there in snmp tree. So, I should read on how to add new data sources under snmp. I will go through all the manual pages for this then, as there seems to be no other proper articles about this on net.
