- 1It's not really like I'm concerned about performance it just makes me feel quite uncomfortable when VM fails to boot with blk i/o errors during VM boot when host is reading some files ._.Lapsio– Lapsio2017-02-27 13:37:11 +00:00Commented Feb 27, 2017 at 13:37
- I improved the answer. Indeed if things reach that level, you should consider having a test rig. I have a server with SSD disks, freeBSD+ZFS+bhyve just for my own personal use at work.Rui F Ribeiro– Rui F Ribeiro2017-02-27 18:53:24 +00:00Commented Feb 27, 2017 at 18:53
- 1The most hilarious thing is that it works like on/off switch. When I send STOP signal to heavy i/o process VMs work, when CONT they stop working. So at this point I'm just pausing i/o for VM boot and then resuming it but it's quite well... Inconveniet? at least...Lapsio– Lapsio2017-02-27 19:06:22 +00:00Commented Feb 27, 2017 at 19:06

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. shell-script), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
