Jul 16, 2017 at 19:48 comment added MiniMax @digitalXmage I am too... You should make new question - "Can't boot from Ubuntu/Debian Live USB in the UEFI mode". Attach screenshots, your hardware configuration and UEFI version (It should be written it the UEFI menu). And point out, that in the Legacy BIOS mode it is booting as expected.
Jul 16, 2017 at 18:59 comment added digitalXmage same happens with a ubuntu usb instead. I honestly not sure what to do now to get this to work.
Jul 16, 2017 at 17:54 comment added MiniMax @digitalXmage Can you try Ubuntu USB the same way? Just now, tested it with Lubuntu, got GRUB menu with items "Try without installation", "Install Lubuntu", etc.
Jul 16, 2017 at 17:36 comment added digitalXmage yes it goes straight to that screen. I'm just not sure why this is occuring honestly.
Jul 16, 2017 at 17:22 comment added MiniMax @digitalXmage It is not booting in to the Debian at all? You click UEFI USB and get this screen (error: no such partition)?
Jul 16, 2017 at 16:29 comment added digitalXmage Hi, thanks for the information. However when i click the UEFI version of my usb, instead of "general" version option. It then proceedes takes me to this screen. imgur.com/a/l6EfL , sorry for the inconvenience.
