| Mar 25, 2018 at 1:42 | comment | added | michaelh | Doing further testing, I believe, this is an issue with Xorg's configuration. When I try to start it manually, I get weird flickering. I had the same, when I messed up the xorg.conf while running the latest Kernel. So I couldn't get any UI at all. But I also found out that Blackmagicdesign have updated their driver! So, long story short, I rebuilt the whole thing. No workaround needed. Everything is running smootly. :) Still interested in why this wouldn't work, in case this comes up again. | |
