Don't forget the all important Super Cow Powers, which apt-get has but aptitude does not. (Try --help on both) Commented Aug 20, 2010 at 18:51

  • Oh how I miss frequent Easter eggs. You know the development environment is healthy if there are lots Easter eggs present. Many commercial companies have removed many of their best Easter eggs because 'the old people were getting confused', those were good times back when commercial companies were full of interesting people and the rich business types weren't so stiff you could use them to build a bridge, and being a CEO didn't mean being a fast-talking headset-wearing frequent flyer with a snarky yet demeaning attitude with a false consensus the size of China.
