On HP 3PAR OS 3.3, NFS permissions strictly follow the primary group of the user, meaning that:
- The user's primary group must match the group assigned to the NFS export (e.g.,
thunder).
If the user has thunder only as a secondary group, they won’t get proper read/write permissions.
