  • looking at the options in your current design's drop-down, it looks to be a very task-centric menu. As such, I would say this is much more akin to your standard software menus and is probably a decent solution already. Commented May 30, 2012 at 4:31

    If you can find just two people inside or outside of your team to test mocked up alternatives, you can afford user testing to some degree. A little is more than zero, imperfect is better than nothing. It might not be comprehensive, but it will give you more to go on than nothing. Commented May 30, 2012 at 14:52
