Thanks to goodbyebird and brokenmnemonic for the beta feedback.

This is a vid I started last year, but I never finished it and was hoping it would get requested again. I went into Festivids with two possible songs for this but couldn't quite make them work the way I wanted. So I went vidsong hunting again with two weeks left before the deadline and found this amazing cover of the The Cure song. Phew!

I knew this time I wouldn't get away with using footage downloaded from Youtube, as I usually do with game vids - because Limbo is in black and white and high contrast-y the image looks particularly crappy and full of artifacts when compressed too much. I've never recorded a whole game myself and I had to face a whole bunch of problems, especially framerate issues that I never want to deal with again. *muffled crying*

Nevertheless I'm really happy with the result.

PS. This little boy is very determined to fall through the glass with his feet first and this is the one thing that'll always bother me about this vid. (I yelled at the screen so much. SMASH YOUR HEAD IN, TIMMY, WHY WON'T YOU CRASH THROUGH THE GLASS HEADFIRST WHY.)
