- I am involved with a project hosted a major university X, though I work at another major university, Y
- X have shared a OneDrive folder with me giving me edit access to a folder F.
- The folder F appears in my "Shared" folder on One Drive (xxxx.sharepoint.com/shared)
- I click on the radio button next to the folder name, but it only gives me the option in the top menu to "Open" the folder.
- I need to "Add shortcut to my files" but this option isn't available
I presume that this is some setting in X's set up of OneDrive that allows sharing of folders to be mounted into a desktop OneDrive outside their organisation. What setting would this be?
