When conducting research with or alongside children, special considerations in the
methodological designs should be highlighted and well thought-out (Aubrey, David, Godfrey, &Thompson, 2000; Eder & Fingerson, 2002; Greig &Taylor, 1999; Lewis & Porter, 2004; Lewis, 2004; Siraj-Blatchford & Siraj-Blatchford, 2001).
The study is based on qualitative

"Epistemological anarchism", as Feyerabend expressed it, is not a mere rejection of the usefulness of methodological rules or the defence that any
methodological design is valid, but the verification that the methodology used must not remain unchangeable in relation to the diversity of situations of research and phenomena to be studied, as well as facing historical conditions in which, any research is inserted.
Most studies were carried out by researchers from developed countries and lacked robust
methodological design. Involving local researchers might remove the mismatch between areas of scientific interest and actual prevalence of the causes of maternal mortality, and could encourage the involvement of policy-makers and professionals at country level in generating and disseminating information on best practice.
The use of student stories as a
methodological design for learning and practice is similar to the seminal research study by Patricia Benner.
Several perceived problems are identified, including: irrelevant assessment of outcome variables; weak
methodological design in conducting experimental research; lack of theoretical foundations in designing hypertext systems; lack of specification of precise learning outcomes; and lack of learners' prior knowledge in the content area.
Finally, the
