...well, not as often as I'd like, really. We are going down to Catalina this coming week for 3 days of diving, though. Did several days in Bonaire in June. Prior to that, nothing since Catalina in November of 97 over Thanksgiving. Yeesh.
This isn't a "real" update, I didn't change the art. I need more sleep than that right now. I'm just updating the last update, from (ugh) February. I'll do the same headings, since it's easy.
The wedding: It happened, it was great, we enjoyed it, we lived. Maybe in that order. :-) JimD has digital camera pix, still bugging him to upload them. June 21, 1998. Caught our honeymoon plane to Bonaire. Yay!
The job: finished my GNAC contract, took one at Palm Computing. More management than hands-on, that's a bit of a change. Fun project, work environment less so. Not unfriendly, just too formal for my taste. May renew, but only if I can do it from Seattle. Did I mention we're moving?
The social life: Well, that didn't last long. Was spending 2 or 3 hours a day online typing, my RSI flared up, my billing volume went down, and the whole thing was given up as a bad idea. :-) Then the brunt of the wedding organizing kicked in and everything social got dropped. Lately it's been, "see folks once or twice a month".
Coffee gathering punted after a couple of months, wedding business and other folks were busy too. Now I hear Bay City has closed-- wups, that's a done deal now.
General health: Can't complain, don't have the energy. :-) Not too bad, actually, mostly job & life stress. Recent decision to move is easing way up on life stress, job stress increasing as we move towards official Beta but increased mgmt attention to project has decreased my individual stress level.
OK, I'll try to get a real update out soon. Or at least change the art.
