Caroline Emmerton founded The House of the Seven Gables Settlement Association in 1910, with the goal of using proceeds from tours of the famous mansion to fund her community education work. But times have changed. Ticket sales alone can no longer provide the funds needed to meet the growing demand for our Citizenship and English as a Second Language classes, preserve our historic buildings, and offer the educational and engaging experiences our visitors have come to expect. Whether you become a member, attend a fundraiser, or provide support through a variety of tax-deductible giving options, your generosity allows The Gables to advance our mission and impact the greater community. We need your continued help in our ongoing effort to preserve, share, and continue the American story.
