Alternative Parents

This is a community for those who consider themselves "alternative" and are also parents. While alternative methods of parenting can be discussed, this is more a community about how to merge your alternative lifestyles with raising children. For example, if you are a member of a non-mainstream religion, how do you deal with Christians harassing you or your children? If you are polyamourus, how do you deal with the effects this might have on your children, especially if they tell someone they have two daddies and a mommy! I don't like to lay out a lot of rules, but I have a few.

1) If you join this community, you best be tolerant of other's choices, no matter what choice that is.

2) If you flame, I will delete it. I'd be more than happy to provide you with a list of communities specifically for posting flames as an outlet for your frustration. Just don't do it here.

3) Trolls will be banned. End of story.
