    I have mentioned the reason already. Drive Offers in-app purchases. It'll cry for missing APIs when you delete Play Store. But other Google apps like Gboard and Messages may work fine because they don't have In-App Billing. Also there are other Google API's including Analytics, Ads, Authentication, Location, SafetyNet, CloudMessaging and many more. I can't tell you what app uses which API because I'm not an Android developer. Commented Apr 3, 2019 at 18:28
