- Why dont you just let the gmail app notify you of your secondary emails as a push notification?cnfw– cnfw2014-08-11 11:50:37 +00:00Commented Aug 11, 2014 at 11:50
- I had that setup initially (Gmail app with main account, plus secondary account), but then my work inbox gets clobbered with a few hundred non-work related emails, amazon newsletters and facebook notifications over the course of a month or so. Deleting them as they come and actioning them on the spot gets really difficult in the long run. I need to keep the accounts separate.Husman– Husman2014-08-11 11:53:43 +00:00Commented Aug 11, 2014 at 11:53

- 1I mean, have the two accounts in the gmail app. Then the inboxes are kept separate and you can easily switch between the two :)cnfw– cnfw2014-08-11 11:55:24 +00:00Commented Aug 11, 2014 at 11:55

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. google-play-store), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
