  • Hey there, It isn't working for me, or I'm not doing it correctly. Would you be able to screenshot the shortcut? Commented Apr 21, 2018 at 1:08

I've added screenshots to the answer. Commented Apr 21, 2018 at 2:00
  • IT WORKS! YES! Thank you! I've been trying to figure out how to do that for a year or two! Commented Apr 21, 2018 at 2:04

Perfect. I've been looking for a way to quickly share a page in Safari to Notes. "File->Share->Notes" worked. I used Command-Shift-N (similar to "Email this Page" default of Command-Shift-I). In Safari this automatically removed that shortcut from its previous use (New Private Window) but not in Chrome. Commented Aug 4, 2022 at 2:41
  • Does anybody know how to take an item that has a default shortcut (eg File->Share->Email Link has a shortcut of ⌘I) and change it to not have a keyboard shortcut? If I leave Keyboard Shortcut blank in the dialog, the Done button is disabled. Commented Apr 15 at 13:01
