| Feb 18, 2022 at 9:57 | comment | added | maxschlepzig | Yes, I think the last assembled variant (i.e. down-facing headers on the long side, 90 degrees side-facing on the short side) is how it's used by most. Fritzing even has 2 revisions of the Arduino Pro Mini: Rev13 and Rev14. Whereas Rev13 does properly align and connect, but is only available as 5 V variant. Rev14 doesn't align/connect but is available in both 3 V/8 MHz and 5 V/16 MHz variants. Modeling it with down-facing headers on the long sides seems to be most flexible, since you still can put it beside the breadboard and connect wires. | |
