Configure Restrict Content

In each post or page, you will see a new meta box where you can set the restrictions for this post.

You can configure the post to be accessible only to users who are logged in to your website. You can later restrict access more specifically, so that the post can only be accessible to specific roles or access levels.

Restrictions to apply

  • Redirect Page: It will redirect users who do not have permission to view the post to the post or page you specify.
  • Redirect URL: It will redirect users who do not have permission to view the post to a specific URL.
  • Content Replacement: It will display a message to users who do not have permission to view the page, which you can configure in Content Replacement. The content of the post will be replaced by the message where you indicate that it is restricted for their access level or role.

To use additional restrictions, you can use the Custom User Fields add-on to grant access to users who have specific values in certain fields. In Configure Restrict Content with Custom User Fields, you can see how to use the fields from Custom User Fields for the restrictions.
