Speaking of underhanded questions, I wonder how this one managed to evade the closed/locks that all others had faced:
I thought underhanded stuff was off-topic and closed or locked as historical, but this one wasn't. Why?

It's now been closed, per the existing site policy. If the currently discussed suggestion is adopted, we'll consider reopening it, given that, as far as underhanded popularity-contests go, it's not particularly low quality.
