As for it being infinite... if it's still running when I wake up tomorrow morning, it's infinite enough for me. Will keep you posted, ha (although, it's currently piping 5.1MB/sec to wc, so if wc is using a 32-bit counter, by my calculations something weird may happen in about 13 minutes.) \$\endgroup\$ Commented Jun 13, 2015 at 6:13
