Marilyn makes it to 1000

Congratulations are due to Marilyn deQueiroz, who has now submitted more than 1000 messages to the Java Ranch Big Moose Saloon. she joins the real "heavy hitters" of the Ranch.
Well done Marilyn, it takes a lot to get this far, and I'm sure we all appreciate your efforts and the help you've given to so many people.

I am amazed that you find time to post AT ALL, what with starting a new job, and a SUPER techie one at that, and nit-picking at the Cattle Ranch etc. What loyalty .

I think that we sub-1000 folk must be getting to be the minority.

I think we need a new forum where strategies are told on how to make it to the 1000 mark the fastest. It has been a really long wait.

Wow, 1000 posts. I wonder how many hours that is equivalent to. Some of my posts are quick, like 1 minute and some take a half an hour or more. I think a lot of Marilyn's post take a while because she often has to try to understand what we cattle drivers are trying to ask her. I would guess that represents probably between 50 to 100 hours.

Congrats Marilyn! Still new to the Cattle Drive and JavaRanch in general, but yer one of the most dedicated people I have seen. Let us in on a little secret, by your monitor, do you have:
A) A box of tissues for the tears
B) A little gadget that you push a button and it bursts into
fits of laughter
C) One of those squishy balls to strangle and throw
D) All of the above and then some
