Congratulations to the new bartenders
To those that did not make it this time round.
Some of you have also posted a lot here on the Java Ranch and might be wondering why you were not invited to join "the club".
I'd like to explain.
When looking for potential candidates a "rough" selection is by using the # postings that you have posted.
The list is then discussed in MD, yes the secret meeting place.
Your name could then have been dropped for the following reasons

The list is then discussed in MD, yes the secret meeting place.
Your name could then have been dropped for the following reasons
- Most of your postings where in the Meaningless Drivel Forum
- The majority of posting where for help and not providing help
- You insulted other visitor or where overly impolite
- You started "fights" by making derogatory remarks to other races, religions, sexes et.al.
I hope I've made it at least clear why you've been overlooked this time round.
Who knows "clean" pse note the quotes up your act and you might join me for a drink in MD

Congrats All,
I admit I haven't had an opportunity to know them all, but would like to talk abt. the ppl I have seen helping others in my less than a month stay here.
Michael Ernest - amazing how he manages to participate in all those discussions and provide answers very patiently.
Val, your contribution to SCJP forums is excellent, especially the way you explain concepts so clearly. Dave Vick, same goes for you, I am impressed by many of your soluions.
Is it possible to know who is handling which bar? Can I request these guys to continue to help us in SCJP forums.
Regards,
- Manish

Thanks for the ego boost, most of what I come up with only after some work double checking my thoughts to make sure I'm right
I've always though that half the battle was knowing where to find the answer, not neccesarily knowing it all the time.
But, the other day I actually remembered one of them from a previous answer I'd given - I guess I'm learning.
And yes I know I'll still hanging around in other forums and I'm sure the others will be too.
