what is local and remote mode that everyone is talking about here? can anyone enlighten me a bit... pls help...and do we really need to implement the local mode in FBN? pls help

Firstly, you better change your name to forum standards or the Name Nazis
are gonna come after you.
As for your question, when I say local or remote, it means networked and non-networked. It might mean something else to others. Like the RHE book says, Sun really should call this a distrubuted processing application, not a traditional client/server app.
And yes, you must implement in both modes.
