Passes SCJP with 85%

I have cleared SCJP with 85%.Java Ranch has played a great role and has been the cornerstone for my success.I have used RHE and Exam Cram for my preparation.My suggestions to every one who wishes to take the exam are....get the concepts clear from any good book including JLS.Then start prepartion from RHE and Exam Cram.Please be aware that the exam tests on fundamentals and is one of the toughest certifications that i have taken.After that take as many mock exams as possible.There are many good ones posted here.( there are many bad ones too!!!).Marcus greens "Mock exam one" and "mock exam two" are good.These exams are only tools for you to measure and get feel for the exam.When i first took these exams i have not got more than 60%.
finally on the exam itself there were 3 questions on layout,3on File IO,2 on collecions,3 on exception handling and lot of question on the core topics of overloading,overriding,encapsulation etc.There are some not very clear question and there were quite few of them.
