I have gone through SL 275 course from sun , it includes networking , GUi and basics of JDBC , CORBA , RMI also.
But in exam objectives these topics are not mentioned.
So is there any preparation required for networking , jdbc , rmi , GUI?

No, they are not part of SCJP 1.4 or SCJP 5.0.
But serialization (which you have probably heard of from RMI) is part of the SCJP 5.0 objectives.
