I am raju currently working as a Networking Administrator. I want to switch into java very soon. I am very interested in java, soon in three months i am going to write my certification. So can one help me in solving my problem.

this forum is for posting your resume and offering yourself for employment. I'm not sure which would be the best forum, as you don't specify WHICH certification you are going for. I will assume you mean SCJP, since that is the starting one for almost all the other certificates. I'm going to move this thread over there.

If you want to take up Sun Certified Programmer for Java 5, you can start with Head First Java by Kathy Sierra & Bert Bates to brush up the basics. Later you can move on to SCJP Sun Certified Programmer for Java 5 Study Guide (Exam 310-055) by the same authors.
