Hello,
I passed my Java certification 2 weeks ago and I got an interview
with the company I was interested in. I met the recruiting manager at a conference and he was interested enough to set up the interview for me even though i don't have any commercial programming experience. I did some fortran programming while I was doing my master in physics. I learnt Java in the past few months and I read a few UML books ( I passed the IBM UML exam which by the way is free right now)
So , next tuesday , I'm supposed to see 4 different guys at the company , 45 minutes each and I'm wondering what kind of question do they usually ask. What kind of questions should I ask ?
Do they ask programming questions to test your knowledge or mostly personal questions ?
Any suggestions are welcome. For example web sites about programmer interviews etc...
Thank you

I actually can't help you with interview questions. We've had some threads on that. Did you check the search engine?
I wanted to ask you about the IBM UML exam. Can you give me a place to go for more information on that? I was thinking of looking into it myself.
Thanks
Eric B.

Eric:
I have seen that the IBM UML test is discussed,
atleast some of the related qstns, in the UML
OOAD discussion on the javaranch discussion.
people in that discussion seems to be knowledgeable
abt this exam .......

I think I'll just lie down here for a second. And ponder this tiny ad:
