Hello All,
I have just finished codeing a piece of software, and now I want to know how I can put it on a disk, so that other people can install my tool on there computer and use it.
Is there a special tool that does this or is there a company?
Also this tool needs to go onto a website, so the user will download it from my site and then install it on there computer and so on.
Thanks for any help
Ben

Hi Ben,
This all depends on how you want people to install your software. Some people will just expect the get a jar file that contains all your classes.
If you have customers that find this to difficult use, then you can use a java installer. There are loads of free opens on the net.
It all ready depends on the type of people you are marketing at. Experienced java customer will just need a jar file.
Hope that helps
Chris.

I have had a look at some of the tools on the net, but they seem to be so complicated, do you know of any realy good simple tools?
Thanks
Ben
