Hi...

Please, I've a doubt, I hope you help me ...

I had installed Netbeans 5.0 with J2SE JDK 1.5 bundle. Now I'm initiating into Java Servlets and JSP's, therefore I need to install J2EE. My question is ... if I install J2EE, it'll overwrite to J2SE? Some problems will happen?

Thanks in advance!

It will not be overwritten. Actually, you don't need J2EE SDK to learn servlets/jsp. Just download a web container like Tomcat. It already contains the necessary libraries.

I would follow Satou's advice and avoid J2EE. It has a lot of things you don't need and might just serve to overwhelm you.

It may be added that J2EE is a superset of J2SE, and you will perhaps move on to it as advance in your Java learning.
