My Employee.hbm.xml is as follows
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<!DOCTYPE hibernate-mapping PUBLIC
"-//Hibernate/Hibernate Mapping DTD 3.0//EN"
"http://hibernate.sourceforge.net/hibernate-mapping-3.0.dtd">
<hibernate-mapping>
<class name="event.Employee" table="employee">
<id name="id" >
<generator class="increment"></generator>
</id>
<property name="empId" column="EMP_ID"/>
<property name="empName" column="EMP_NAME"/>
<property name="empPwd" column="EMP_PASSWORD"/>
</class>
</hibernate-mapping>
Can I create the above-mentioned xml without <id> tag?
