Has anyone any idea when Oracle is going to launch certification for Sun Certified Web Component Developer for the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 6.

Any update...any insider in here?

I would love to hear about this too. Although Servlet is still relevant, JSP is largely outdated and deprecated nowadays. Knowledge of it will of course be required for years, since there simply are a ton of existing JSP based apps, but still. For me personally the current SCWCD, which despite its name only tests for J2EE 1.4 from 2003, seems rather pointless.

When is the new Java EE 6 SCWCD with JSF coming?

i emailed oracle a month and a half back, they said they arent planning to introduce any new certifications as of yet.
