How to deploy Web applications like servlets and jsp from weblogic 8.1 and 9.0 without using IDEs

I am learning now to use weblogic server. In tomcat i used webapps as root directory and i dont know how to use weblogic server. can any one help me please ?

Unless you have a really good reason, do not learn on WebLogic Server 8.1 or 9.0. 8.1 is really old and probably unsupported. 9.0 was not a stable version.

See Oracle's documentation on Auto-Deploying Applications in Development Domains, it works on 9.2, 10. I don't know about 9.0. If you must use it, then you should have enough keywords to do your own search by looking at the links I include.

Also, if you must use 8.1, Auto-deploy - 8.1

Hi Carol,

8.1 is still supported but it is just that you need extended support for raising a bug or an enhancement request.

Just for information.....
